The leisure time paradise for the whole family in the Lavant Valley

The fully functional Schaummühle in the village of Gemmersdorf, at an altitude of around 570 m above sea level, is operated with water power, without electricity.
The Schaumühle can be visited from May to October by prior arrangement by telephone. The grinding takes about one hour. A maximum of 8 people at a time have access so that they can closely observe the activities of the miller during the grinding process. Parking is available at the Gemmersdorf fire station.
Gertrude Oswald (Tel. 0664/1062027) and Herbert Hasenbichler (Tel. 0664/3431325) are the contact persons for the operation of the Schaumühle. The old craft of grinding grain is maintained through the initiative of the people of Gemmersdorf and thus handed down to future generations.
