Leisure Area
St. Andräer lake

The leisure time paradise for the whole family in the Lavant Valley

Just 5 kilometers south of the town of St. Andrä, nestled between the old arm and the regulated course of the Lavant River, next to the Lavant Cycle Path, is the St. Andräer See Recreation Area. The groundwater-fed quarry pond has been environmentally adapted to the existing landscape under the strictest environmental regulations. One-third of the water area was developed as a biotope for water purification. A large part of the old tree stock could be preserved.

The centerpiece of the facility, which opened in 1990, is a 3.5 hectare swimming lake with a diving tower, a water slide and a non-swimmer area. For our smallest visitors, the facility has a bouncy castle and a children's water slide.
